About
Built by an operator. Measured in results.
Trinacria Advisors is an operator led advisory firm. It is built and run by someone who has started companies, run them, grown them, and sold them, and who now uses modern AI and software as the edge that makes that work faster and the results measurable. This is not an AI consultancy learning how businesses run. It is a business operator who mastered the technology. The mandate can be a system, a function, or the whole company.
The name
Trinacria is the ancient emblem of Sicily. Three legs, always in motion, around a head that thinks. That is the firm: constant forward motion, grounded in judgment.
How the firm works
Founder led, always.
Every engagement is led by the founder. Judgment does not delegate.
Staffed to the mandate.
Engagements are scoped so senior consultants and engineers can join under the founder's direction as the work requires. The bench grows with the mandate; the standard does not move.
Multiplied by the build system.
The firm's AI build discipline lets a senior team deliver what used to take a department, in weeks instead of quarters.
The founder
Joe Divona
Joe Divona has spent more than three decades in audio visual, IT, and low voltage integration, including fourteen years running a national design and installation company with global accounts and full P&L ownership. That includes years as an IT executive responsible for the infrastructure real businesses run on. He has lived the complete company lifecycle from startup through acquisition, and he holds active California C10 and C7 contractor licenses, so he speaks the language of the field as fluently as the language of the boardroom.
He has been building the technology backbone of businesses since long before AI made it fashionable, with a technology adoption track record dating to a 2007 Microsoft implementation award. The pattern has never changed: adopt the strongest tools early, wire them into how the business actually operates, and measure the result. Today he leads Trinacria Advisors across advisory, operating, and build mandates, with production systems in daily use.
I built Trinacria Advisors for companies that are somewhere between strategy and execution. I have run the field crews and I have sat in the owner's seat, so my work starts with how the business actually operates, not how the org chart says it should. I find the problem that is costing the most, I build the system that fixes it, and I stay until the team runs it without me. The best consulting leaves people clearer, systems stronger, and the business more valuable after the engagement than before it.
Operating philosophy
Operator first, technologist second.
Most people arriving at AI and technology consulting came from software and are learning the industries. This firm came up the other way, through the trades, the field, and the P&L. When systems get built here, they are grounded in how the work actually runs, not bolted on from the outside.
Production over pilots.
An experiment that never leaves the lab is a cost. A roadmap nobody executes is a document. The standard here is a working system, in production, in daily use.
Highest value problem first.
Engagements do not start with a technology. They start with where the most money, time, or risk is sitting, and they attack that first.
The client owns everything.
Code, data, documentation, and the knowledge to run it. No dependency by design.
Weeks, not quarters.
Working systems arrive fast, get proven in real use, and improve from there.
Direct by default.
Plain answers, honest tradeoffs, and deliverables an executive can act on the day they land.
Values
-
Clarity.
Define the problem, the owner, the next step, and the expected outcome.
-
Ownership.
Every deliverable belongs to the client, and every open item has a name on it.
-
Accountability.
Clear expectations and visible follow through, without bureaucracy.
-
Trust.
Honest communication, protected confidences, and advice that serves the client's long term interest.
-
Craft.
The work is built to a standard, not to a deadline alone. Quality rules are written down and enforced.
